Same Day Appointments and Same Day Sedation
Rectal bleeding and pain is a cause for concern. You don’t want to see a physician a month from now; you want to see someone to help you as soon as possible. That’s why we try to see patients with pain and bleeding the same day or the next day. It’s even possible to be sedated the same day if it is required or if you request it.
Rectal bleeding is one of the most common problems that a proctologist is asked to evaluate. While it’s common to our practice, we understand what an emergency it feels like for you and that you want to address the problem immediately. That’s why we want you to call us.
I had never had bleeding before and to say that I was a little concerned was an understatement. It was such a load off of my mind when I called and you were able to see me the same day. You and your staff were very kind and reassuring and helped eliminate my anxiousness. Thank you! Mary
If your rectal pain and bleeding is present with one of the following symptoms, you need to contact us right away:

Our caring staff will help sooth your anxiety and determine the steps needed to evaluate the cause. An office visit is the first step.
Without a physical exam, it is not possible to diagnose the cause of the problem. It’s also important to make sure that other underlying problems don’t exist.
